Post the bugs you've found here if 2 others confirm i'll file a bug report.
Please provide as many information as possible.

Itask-ng is seriously broken. We can't change the order of the icons anymore and now the 'show only current desk' option in the pager behaves unproperly had to disable it.

Seems like a regression Smiley

You can't change the order of anything anywhere via the configuration settings Order unless you manually edit the .order files.

Useful thread!

1. I found Itask-ng buggy even before Beta 3, As soon as I installed and updated the system.
Same symptoms as mentioned above - Unable to change order.
I did change this way: Removed all and added one by one according the order I wanted.

2. Systray - Stubborn! does not obey at all Smiley. I wanted to move it from the shelf left to right but I didn't manage that. Then swapped shelves and moved it that way. Tested now after Beta 3 and the same: Stubborn Smiley

When i move an icon it always goes to the last position so have to rearrange them.
This problems appeared in beta2 EFL release, remember e17 will remain pre alpha until EFL hits final. Then development will be focused more on e17, the EFL 'flagship'.

What they need is bug reports that's why i started this topic. Smiley

I added the EWeather gadget to my desktop.  Didn't like it and went to remove it.  Every time I try to remove it, it crashes the desktop.  I get a dialog box that says Enlightenment Error, SEGV'd.  If I select the Recover button, the desktop is restarted and the EWeather gadget is still there.  If I select the Exit button and log back in same result.  EWeather gadget is stil there.  Can't remove this gadget from my desktop or unload it.

Try unloading it from terminal
Code:
enlightenment_remote -module-disable eweather
or
Code:
enlightenment_remote -module-unload eweather

If that fails to work reinstall the econfig package from synaptic to reset e17 settings to pclinuxos default.
Module forecasts works perfectly.

Did you update your systems with recent beta 3 update?

The problem you described, I had before Beta3 update. Now it's gone.

Thanks for the info smurfs.  I some how in my trying to unload that module with all the crashes, restarts and reboots got it unloaded.  I can't really say how it got done though.  I shut the system down for the night and powered it up this morning and it was gone.

Almost everything in the video and sound submenu.

Which icon theme do you have in E17 settings panel / look / icon theme?

Did a synaptic system update, I have E17, with kde installed for opera and k3b,
and now at startup there is an error,

"Couldn't recognize the image file format for file
/usr/share/gdm/themes/PCLinuxOS-Obsidian-2/background.jpg

It then offers 'the standard greeter' which works to login.

Once inside, The Firefox navigation widgets fail to appear until the mouse
is on them, others don't appear, but the text description appears. The drawings are just a vertical oval, or line, depending on the theme, no arrows.

In pcmanfm, icons are invisible, only text appears, but the icons appear if you start pcmanfm as root.
Also, starting as root, it displays a 'Permission Denied' error, but functions properly after canceling the message.

If I start a root terminal, and start synaptic, it claims the password is wrong, but if
I start synaptic from a user terminal, it ask for and uses the password OK.

KDE4 was a trainwreck after the update, 'couldn't find mime type octet-stream' appeared when
starting any KDE app. The Konqueror prefs were apparently nuked...I reinstalled the warthog, to no avail.
Then uninstalled it for now. (Does the Opera web browser really 'depend' on kde?) Hopefully the gnome
media burner app will be as good as k3b.
I tried different GTK and E17 themes, the issues remained, only some drawings differed slightly.
Cheers

Have you rebooted since updating? I updated my Enlightenment 2010.11 partition from the repos day before yesterday and cut the Enlightenment 2010.12 iso. I experienced no problems at all. Thanks for your report.
