Hi I need some help.

I have a HP 2050 J510 all in one printer and I don't get it to work, it won't even show up anywhere.
I have installed the latest version of hplip 3.10.9 and still not although is should. on an other laptop it works fine (not pclos installed)
the usb ports work fine as all other things I plugin work.
if I go in to the hardware configure center an I look in the hardware tab under scanners and printers it shows only scanners.

please help me get my printer to work that is the only thing that bugs me further I love pclos with E17 and I don't want to change Smiley

Shutdown computer
Turn on printer
Plug printer into computer
Make sure cord is also plugged into the printer
Boot computer
Log in to computer
Click on Configure your computer -> Hardware -> Setup Printer and follow the prompts.

Open synaptic and install printerdrake, this will bring in all printer drivers etc...
LAst time i checked the task-printing package does not bring in printerdrake.
Then open pcc and setup your printer.
