I think the forum name/image in the top left should be updated to the newest version. (Seen on boot up where the nu are connected in Linux)

If SMF is any thing like phpbb updating the text/image in the top left corner is as simple as creating a new image file and replacing the old one.

-Nothing urgent but just something that would make the forums look a bit better.

Yeah the image looks really good I think we should use something just like that minus the gray. So the PCLOS just sits right on top of the theme. Not sure if you get what I mean?

I copied some artwork I saw and just pasted it over a screenshot, I know I'm not great with graphics, as a concept idea.

Obviously in all cases I simply copied and attempted to remove the backgrounds. With ones like the brushed metal I wasn't really able to, but I'm sure someone has the layered version or can remake it.

Personally I like the last one the most.

My vote would go for a niice plain text web page that allows for images to be shown if required, preferably with a black background and grey (not green) text using a great easy to read monospaced font with colour highlighting/text when needed

That way it would look good in all browsers, and nobody could moan about the themes that are not available etc  Wink

I now have a bigger question, why is our forum so outdated? SMF is already on version 2.01 and this one is running 1.1.15.

How about we leave things alone. That is how I feel about it. People always want to mess up a good thing. Newer isn't always better. The easiest way to run off your userbase is to start constantly changing your website software.

Texstar,

Very Very True Dat!.

I can remember a not-so-nice-indecisive , that kept changing forum styles, and cried like a 6yearold girl that lost her puppy when peeps did not like it they way he did, I think he disappeared into obscurity and beyond
