Just did the laetst upgrade in the repo for Clementine.

0.6 is sweet!  A nice new interface and great nav tools on the left hand side. GREAT lyrics app! Artist info is fantastic!

Thanks, Tex and crew!:)

Much nicer Clementine.  But Visualizations are now grayed out.  Can we get them back?

Visualizations? Never knew Clementine had 'em.  I see 'em now and mine are grayed out, too.

When they fix it so it doesn't crash Clementine if one doesn't have opengl drivers enabled.

The new features seem pretty cool, the only thing I don't like, is it searching a bunch of third-party websites for lyrics and artist info if I happen to accidentally hit those tabs. Haven't found a way to turn those features off yet, can't find a .conf file for it and there's no opt-out in the GUI that I can see. Shocked

The Icecast stations are a nice addition. Grin

The visualizations never would stream well for me, they lagged in fullscreen mode.

The visualizations I used weren't streamed in, and it doesn't play anything but
mp3 and ogg I don't think.  But Icecast has 6000 stations, so.

Thanks Dragynn.  Clementine isn't listed in 'Upgradable' for me. It's in the 'Upgradable (upstream)' section. Can I just upgrade to it from there?

Misnomer, I meant "stream" as more of a verb Cheesy, sorry. I meant the ones included in Clementine. It's too bad, saw some milkdrop stuff was in there, not bad vizzies.

Clementine plays everything on mine except MP4's, had to add some gstreamer plugins like ffmpeg etc.

Mp4's and transcoding were the only things that didn't work for me on the last version, haven't tried MP4's on this one yet.

Well I've got whatever gstreamer plugins it came with, ffmpeg included.   I see an AAC plugin for playback but it
doesn't say specifically for streaming.  Any recommendations which of the gstreamers to install.  Most of them
say "libraries" but not which specific ones.

thx

Clementine isn't streaming internet radio for you? If not, check and see if you have gstreamer0.10-neon installed, install that and it should work fine.
