FF here takes it normally and I even listened for a while but couldn't understand Danish. Smiley

Try to run FF in Terminal by
firefox
in hope there will see error output.

Hi ongoto

I have had  the same thought. When I listen to the swedish public radio with ff there is no trouble. On the other hand when I listen via ff in win xp there is no problem. I think there is something wrong every other time with www.dr.dk.

Hi

I had task-multimedia installed. Tried to uninstall but ff continue to break down. I also tried to reinstall firefox and firefox-da but with the same result. Funny thing is that it has worked fine earlier.

(re)install task-multimedia,
(stream without correct codecs==Firefox crash)
followed by gecko-mediaplayer. Check for version 0.9.6
If version 1.0.0 is installed, remove it before installing 0.9.6
(version 1.0.0==Firefox crash)

Hi

I installed the gecko media player. Version 1.0.0 is not in the repository. Now it works again. Thank You very much for help.

OW

Firefox, Konqueror, and Opera, all work here.

I have not installed gecko-mediaplayer and don't want to because the explanation says "...a browser plugin that uses GNOME MPlayer..." but I am on KDE here.
Never had problems in the browsers with the streams after I installed task-multimedia.

I have never experienced this before. Firefox will only play if gecko player is installed and I am using KDE. Considering a new install.
