Hello PCLinuxOS Team,

I have been away for about 3 years having used another GNU/Linux OS a good percentage of that time.  I am thoroughly impressed with the work done on PCLinuxOS during that time.  It has maintained the "grassroots" feel and certainly competes well against many other OS for ease of installation, use and productivity.  Without modern hardware, I have started gravitating to non-mainstream desktop environments and user interfaces.  Currently I am using the new E17 2010.11 version.  I am very pleased with it as my hardware is much more responsive with it.  So far, it has been rock solid and based on the last few days I intend to stick with it for awhile.

Thanks for hanging in there when things were not so easy.  We as casual end users benefit directly from your efforts, patience and commitment.  The common OS base and the various optimized user environments make PCLinuxOS a gem in the GNU/Linux landscape.  It is truly a testament to what can occur when a team's focus is maintained--a polished product that serves the needs of many but also is equipped with the ability to be altered for the unique needs of a few.

Thanks again and I look forward to following this OS more closely.
