Grin You know, one reason I consider this to be one of the best and most quality-centric distros available today is what has been the virtually painless upgrades.
A couple of months ago I installed 2010.07, needless to say that from the very beginning there was a rather extensive set of updates available numbering in the hundreds. The process didn't miss a beat on one single update, I was pretty darned impressed I don't mind saying.
Since then there have been some more significant updates, including a couple of major KDE upgrades. In each case the process was 100% successful, my system logs are still perfect. This install only gets better and tighter each time and doggone it, I just wanted to say thanks! PCLOS is doubtless the best prepackaged implementation of KDE out there.  -I say "prepackaged"  because I haven't tried making an Arch setup with KDE yet, but I don't see how it could be any better.
I also did one kernel upgrade a couple of weeks ago and it went equally well. I've said it before but, you run one hell of an operation here Tex. I'll be donating on my next pay cycle. You do great work Mr. Reynolds and Co., thanks!

I agree that the updating goes real smooth. Cool I'm on dailup, I live in a rural area, it takes a bit longer to update, but it's nice to know it's gonna come out right.  Wink Thanks should be given to all the people who test the packages too.  Grin Wink Grin Cool

Testing is usually easy, because there's hardly anything to complain about  Cheesy

Thanks to Tex and everyone involved from me also!  Cheesy
