Hello, can anyone point me in the direction of what the problem is and maybe a fix?
I get this error after updating my desktop after a clean install. I rebooted the clean install atleast 3 times after the install without any problems. it wasnt until the update that I got this error.

Thanks in advance

My suggestion? Log in as root (su) and run the Control Center (PCC), then try setting up the graphics again. I have a laptiop that didn't agree with PCLOS, until I went in and manually set the resolution myself in the Control Center (it CAN be run from CLI), then it worked fine.

Good advice and just to add to it,  XFdrake  from the command line if you can't get to the desktop at all.

First Thanks for the input guys. XFdrake worked .The problem was with the video driver. Any settings change I made gave me an error ( An error occurred (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/linux/libfglrxdrm.so (EE) cant load FireGL DRM Library  (libfglrxdrm.so )). Until I changed the default driver from Radeon HD 2000 and later (radeon/fglrx) to Radeon HD 2000 and later (radeonhd/fglrx). then all settings worked and I could run test of video reboot and logon with a gui.
Thx again
