Hey, I love the cover! Who made it?

Timeth.   Several people contribute artwork (including me), but he makes many of the covers.
We love it too, and think he's very good.

I may be the only one with the following problem, but I post this to be sure. The last 3 months maybe 4, I go to distrowatch and if the new PCLINUXOS magazine is listed there I download it. Well, each of these months I get a bad download. The file won't open and it says that it can't open file. Tried both Okular and Fox-it. I tried downloading it and opening it and I tried just opening it. No go.
I am not sure why this is happening. Each month I have got it at another location and have no problem opening it.
So it's not Okular or Fox-it.
If it isn't just my system for some reason , then it should be fixed. Others that might be trying to view it for the first time may just bypass it and miss out on this great magazine and our PCLINUXOS.
Thanks for listening.

UPDATE:

Parnote, the link you offer in your post, "download the pdf" also does not work for me. The "alternate download site" however does.
It is a mystery to me.

Now that I have gotten to read a bit of it, another great issue.

Looks like a really informative breakdown of LXDE. Looking forward to reading it all.

I have enjoyed reading the October issue of your excellent magazine.
I have one comment however. I went to the Barnes and Noble home page, but found no free reader listed. However I went to Border's home page and downloaded their "Desktop." that together with Caliber enabled me to read e-books. However I was unable to install Lucidor. But the sections I have read in the magazine are very well done.

Ray...  it's here...   http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/free-nook-apps/379002321
I found it by going to the website and clicking on eBooks... then, there's another menu directly beneath the line that contains eBooks... one of them says 'Free Nook Apps'   and the link is toward the bottom of the page at the left side.

Have fun!!!

Guess no one else had a similar problem with the distrowatch link and the link here.

I will keep trying to figure it out. If I do, I will pass it on to maybe help some others with a similar problem.
