But this kind of brilliant, stable, fast, easy to use Linux distro, is EXACTLY what I would have expected from a fellow Texan  Wink Grin

Okay, I know there are others working too, and maybe they aren't Texans, but it's cool, as Lyle Lovett sings "...oh no you're not from Texas, but Texas wants you anyway!"

YEEEEEE-HAWWW!

That guy is a genius too! I have played around with a dozen different Puppy variants, have some i've "customized"(hacked up,lol), nice fast stable system too, Puppy is one of my 3 favorite Linux systems along with SliTaz (for old old hardware and low ram), and of course my new favorite  Wink

I think when I have some cash, my next project will be a new build, a nice new mobo with usb 3.0, lotsa fast ram and a 4-core CPU, and very possibly no hard drive, i'd like to try Gnome Zen mini running straight from ram like Puppy, using a flash drive to store files and the OS itself.

You and me both amigo! I lived in the Bitterroot valley south of Missoula for a time when I was very young, the wifey and I are actually trying to save cash now and find a way to move in the next couple of years, I miss the mountains and trout fishing, and she's never been out of Texas.
