i have just installed pclos gnome, kde, lxde on different partition and start my learning and orientation..
when i try network browsing on gnome, i found two issues ( after i open file manager and click Network icon):
1. very slow in getting response. took some minutes!!,  when i used several other distros, it normally take few seconds
2. often it is Unable to mount location   :  Failed to retrieve share list from server,

what am i doing wrong? how do i make correction so that network browsing is as fast as it should be?
thanks in advance for any help.

I read from another forum, PCLOS Gnome forum, several others reported the same issue after their upgrade.

I believe mine is the same issue, i had no sound on totem player, then i did the upgrade that took 2 hours, and totem sound was resolved.
However, new problem surfaced, the network browsing no longer worked.

So i took the suggestion, reinstall Nautilus,, and now the network browsing work again..
