Hi all

I have an old Pentium III, Intel, 500Mhz processor, 256 memory, that I'd like to try LXDE on.  I can't boot from CD, although I know I have before, as have Tiny Me installed on it.  I have googled, but don't understand the answers about flashing BIOS.

Pressing F1 enters set up but see no boot order, therefore no way to change it.

Thanks

Type of mainoard ?
Try to find the manual.(Google)
When you are in BIOS it's mostly the advanced options or the second page where you can change the boot order.

What happens when you take out the hard disk? By that I mean disconnect it, then power up the computer. Can you boot the CD without and HDD? You might like to change the jumpers on the CD-drive to Master and the HDD to Slave to get it the distro installed.

Thanks for those suggestions.  Can't find a second page to change boot order as I have done in other machines.  Will try the jumper thing when have a bit more time.  Thanks
