I've been a Firefly fan since the day it was first aired. Me, too. And I have the entire series (including the un-aired episodes) on DVD, along with the spin-off movie, Serenity. |

What? Did the author ever watch the show. Firefly crew sure weren't bounty hunters. Maybe the corporate overlords were bounty hunters. Galactic cannibals? I suppose he's talking about the Reavers... I think cannibalism was sort of hinted at. Galactic? No, the entire series was set in our solar system. |

I glad that I'm not alone in my appreciation of Cult TV. Between Netflix and suggestions/requests for DVDs at Christmas, my birthday, and Father's Day I do alright in re-living the good stuff. Danger Man and Brisco County Jr. (I'm a Bruce Campbell fan...  ) are available on Netflix, as are several other series. There are just too many to mention. Netflix is a real bargain, especially during the cold New England winters.  The television and movie industry have been trying hard to re-boot many of the classics without much success. Just my opinion. |

The star of Firefly is in a series called "Castle". Did anyone catch the "Halloween" episode of that show last year when his character dressed up as a "space cowboy"? It was a nice homage to Firefly. I loved it! |

It's kinda hard to tell from the series itself. |

Yes. I love an "inside" reference for the "fans" of series and characters. As one gets "older" it's fun to see and appreciate that some producers and directors are able and willing to pay homage to the past. I was happy to see Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly (Cagney & Lacey) reunited on Burn Notice. FYI ...Burn Notice has Bruce Campbell!!! If you live long enough, you acquire a collection of memorable characters and moments that you find enjoyable. Those who can recreate/share those characters and moments in a positive manner get a big thumbs-up! |

Well, it isn't exactly TV, but how can we talk about Joss Whedon's creations without mentioning Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog? Great performances by Neal Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion, too.
