Hey guys,I have kde4 desktop with kwin enabled and I have just installed task-gnome. My question is can I activate compiz while in gnome without causing problems when I log back into kde4 ?
Thanks,Rob

Well technically no... but at kdm when you pick sessions just pick drak3d and pick whether or not you want compiz fusion.
Log out of KDE4 log into drak3d enable compiz log into gnome. It's pretty simple and that way you can leave Kwin effects on in KDE4
It's easy as eating a piece of pie.
