Hello,

After an upgrade to kde4 4.5.1 done thing morning (Sunday 9 am europe/paris time) I am getting the above message when trying to boot.

Something is wrong but I cannot find anything useful on the web or this forum, any idea ?

I have done an apt-get update/apt-get upgrade from the command line, but still get that message

Any help will be receive with immense gratitude

note trying to run kstartupconfig4 manually, I get an error
'symbol lookup error /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5 undefined symbol _ZN9QListData11Detach_growEPii it looks like an incomplete update or bad setup to me

Following on that line of thoughts I did an apt-get dist-upgrade and it now works fine; I guess the manual update via synaptic is easy to get wrong if one is not sufficiently careful.
