Hopefully that subject heading got your attention.  Grin

This is reminder message to everyone to please click the advertisements on the forum to help PCLinuxOS.

EDIT:
from Neal:

Because of the actions of those spammers, the main page is the only place for us to go and click ads now. We can keep the main page open in a tab, so it's not that big of an issue. It is just a matter of adding the extra step. Totally doable, eh?

Let's get clicking!  Smiley  (Every time you visit the forum? Two or three times when you visit? As much as possible? Every few seconds?!)   Grin

I heard about this idea from uncleV who started a thread about it on the 'General' board.

This isn't really something that needs replies, it's just a reminder. And, if it's ok with the mods I'll occasionally bump it up to keep reminding people.

Thanks  Wink

Thank you for reminding Smiley

I'm not seeing ads on thread pages like I used to since the spammers were here (maybe that's just my computer?)

I don't see them too since the spammers attack.

There is a thread in General section, may be you and me should bump it from time to time? Wink

Don't see them either so I go to the main page and click those.  It would certainly be better if we had some here as well.  every bit helps.

Me wants to make up a little script that polls the main page (and an ad) at random times. Now that's doable. But I can't get offa this here couch. Who's it gonna be. Who's it gonna be.

I have clicked a few ads today. I have a question or two, though: How much does Texstar earn per click? And does clicking the same ad twice from the same computer count? This knowledge will help me plan my clicks.

+1?

If yes I'll have the Main page constantly opened and click there from time to time, or constantly clicking while I talk on the phone Wink

I'm going to put in another shameless plug for LinPC. I've bought three from him, and haven't had a single problem. I think uncleV's bought one, too, if I remember correctly.

I've "locked" the page and then "Faviconized" the tab so the tab doesn't take up any space - just the width of an icon  Wink

If you can keep you head while all around you are losing theirs, then you have misunderstood the situation.

Should have known I'd get that wrong. I knew it was someone here, so I nominated uncleV.

Thanks, Neal.
