if any one can help me with this iam a newbee at this os i tried to install the wrapper in it and the driver from the cd but cant install it ?

First: What is the brand name and model of the wireless device?
Second: Is it USB or PCI?

Isn't there already a driver available in the PCLinuxOS Control Center? I had one of those and I think it was there.

Okay, I found my same model wireless card and plugged it in. When I go to PCC>Network & Internet>Set up a new network... and click Next, this is what I see:



Using the driver with the tick mark hooked it up just fine. Do you not see the same?
