LOL Wink!

Andy

when there is an update of iron?

The standard answer is: "When its ready." and its not being rude or disrespectful. Its just noone really knows. Its there when one of our packagers has some time to spare and will build upgraded package.

There is a section in this forum called Package Suggest. You can start the topic there and suggest for this browser to be upgraded. Remember to read the rules and stickied topics of the Package Suggest section first before posting.

Hope this helps.

Where is the source code? There isn't any available. Why is that? Could it be a gpl violation? The author built Iron 5.0.381 against glibc 2.11 and has not provided a copy for those distributions still using stable glibc 2.10. I'm not going to update glibc at this time which is the core library the 12000 program in our repos is built upon for one program.

That version does not work with glibc 2.10. Please read my previous post.

You need to go and ask von SRWare if he will build a version that works with glibc 2.10.x
