There are no xorg updates that would affect your graphics driver. You can always just wait for the 2010.10 isos due next month then you won't have to go through the update process.

I am certainly looking forward to the new 2010.10 ISOs.
I refurbish and give away lots of older computers with dual or triple boot to needy people who can't afford them. I put the latest PCLOS KDE version on them if the computer has enough horsepower and if it will run properly---because it's my FAVORITE operating system!! If not, I put the LXDE PCLOS version on it or Puppy Linux.
So, I sort of have to use the latest ISO and update it because I add certain apps to it like OO, TeamViewer (so I can help them from my computer), VLC, Picasa, etc. I won't be able to wait with this Compaq computer with Intel chips unless the ISOs come out in the next few days.
Thanks again for putting out such a great operating system Tex!!!
