I can print a test page and check ink levels and yet it won't print any documents. It's an Epson Stylus Photo 750.
Help please.

You have probably checked the obvious but, have you installed the driver? Do you have CUPS installed? and if you do, is it set to start on boot?

You could try and reinstall the driver while your printer is attached. Epson Stylus Photo 750 is available in the Configure Printer section of PCC

I have an Epson Stylus SX410 and couldn't get it to work after configuring it in PCC. I deleted the entry there and configured it directly in CUPS (http://127.0.0.1:631/printers in the browser).

Now it's printing perfectly. Maybe this could be a solution for you...?

Thorper, the configuration checks OK. I should have mentioned that I have changed from a parallel connection (parallel printer port not available on new PC) to USB. As already mentioned the ink levels reading and the printer test page work fine but anything else I try to print fails.  Huh

Well, I'll go to sea...I deleted in PCC and reconfigured and now it's working. Go figure.
