I have no mouse on the live CD with my HP Media Center PC and HP optical mouse.  Any suggestions?

lsayre,

What type of mouse is it> ps/2 or usb or usb via a ps/2 converter? please give more information that would help you help others help you...

Please do not post the same info across the different sub forums, as you have not installed as yet this would be the more appropriate area for your question, I removed the other

and WELOME to the forums.

It is a PS/2 mouse. My system also has an ATI Radeon R4350 graphics card.  I discovered that there is actually mouse presence, but no mouse pointer is visible on the screen.  When I randomly luck out and bring the invisible mouse pointer over a button I can get it to activate the button by clicking the mouse.
