My Lexmark Z65 printers worked fine until the upgrade to PCLinuxOS 2010. Would like to get a little more use out of the printers if possible. Help appreciated. A definitive statement from an expert that I can no longer use the printers will also be appreciated.

lexmark-drivers is not included with task-printing/task-printing-lexmark.
lexmark-drivers is for X and Z series printers and Z65 is one of the printers specifically listed to work with this driver.

Check that printerdrake is installed and configure printer via PCLOS CC,
 hardware tab.

Alternatively open your browser at
http://localhost:631

and configure CUPS that way. Username is "root" and  password is your
root password. HTH

hal8000,

Tried both methods to install my Lexmark Z65 printer. The Z65 does NOT appear in my list of printers either way. I have installed the drivers file that includes the Z65 from my repository. The Z65 model does NOT appear in CUPS or in HCC. My very fuzzy recollection is that texstar fixed this problem by placing a corrected file in the 2009 repository, but I cannot find that solution now. Thanks for your help.
