Well I don't think that iso will be usable without a /home
My /home is large but not nearly as large as the last live cd that I made in July.  Almost all of those files are not yet moved to their new home.  That said, I can move the majority of /home to my backup drive and try again.  Once I've moved the files I'll try again and then post back.  From the looks of it I think we're on the right road.  Thanks.

Moving the files to a different drive proved successful and a iso was created with no errors showing.  Thank you Joble for your insight.  @ Neal, thanks to you for sticking with me on this and trying to diagnose where the problem was. Thanks to all who gave me input on this.

Thanks Snapshot. After all this time I'd forgotten about emptying my Home to next to nothing. That worked here as well.

You're welcome.  Of all the things I learned about remastering this is the most important.  This never occurred to me yet is possibly one of the most overlooked reasons for failure.  Credit should be given to Joble for helping me to understand this concept.  Until he cleared this up for me I didn't realize that my entire drive was being mirrored.  Thanks again Joble.

Well - I have made my first successful remaster of the Phoenix2010 longtom edition.

Thanks to Neal for the simple, yet effective, instructions and thanks to texstar for creating the opportunity and putting in the hard yards.  Cheesy

I quite agree.
