When I logged into my desktop today my emerald theme had been reset to the default so I went and tried to change it. It's not letting me it just exits out when I click my theme. It did this last time but eventually it would change my theme but no it isn't. Any advice?

See here:

Plus I believe there is also an Emerald update which can be installed.

My problems have now disappeared - Emerald will now allow selection and editing of themes.

Hmmmm.

Just clicked on the Emerald theme for the first time today.  As soon as I clicked on a theme, the whole frame just disappeared.

Guess a update is in order...?

I don't see an answer in that link.... i see a link to a fedora.rpm But I thought we weren't supposed to install outside rpms?

i think that what he wanted to express is that this is a known problem and in another distro a fix was done, possibly this fix can be ported to pclinux soon

It was to link to Tex's comment re: "The actual bug is in GTK 2.0-2.2.0 which has been fixed now."

Sorry, should of mentioned that  Wink
