My PCLinuxOS 2010 task bar alignment had gone. I tried to reset it and I ran the command
kquitapp plasma-desktop
rm -f ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma*
plasma desktop &

I want to change the plasma desktop to the default KDE desktop which I got on installing . Also please help in changing the themes.

Thanks in advance

If you want to change the theme you can go to Look & Feel > Appearance > Style. Then click on the 'Workspace' tab. As for the other part of your request I assume you are referring to the 'Folder view activity settings' which you find when right clicking on the desktop. Look in 'Activity' you can change how the desktop is setup. There's also some settings in Look & Feel > Desktop that might be work looking over at least.
