I selected Evolution from synaptic, installed it but it's not in any of my menus?

Where is evolution?
Did the install complete through the applying changes part? also did you reload>mark all upgrades>apply first?

I performed a remove all and then reinstalled and it didn't complain.
Claws & Thunderbird made it thought i believe Thunderbird comes with the OS install.
It should show up under office or internet, right?

Open up a Konsole and see if you can launch the application
type the first few letters and use <tab> to auto complete and press enter

I typed sh evolution and got this:
/usr/bin/evolution: cannot execute binary file
