I can not start the usb pen drive as first device on a hp nx6110, press F10 to boot into bios find usb floppy, usb cdrom, usb hard drive and usb super drive but can not find usb pen-drive, I tried hard usb drive but does not work, I have enabled multi-boot?

Hi oday,

Have you double checked that the USB option that you choose is the first one in the Boot sequence?

Also, one of the options in my Bios is "Removable" and that works for me on USB-pen booting.

When I go into my Bios I have the USB stick already loaded and it then the Bios lists it as an Sandisk-xxxxx and I put that as the first one in the Boot sequence - which I believe its listed as USB-HDD0

Also, another thing to note is that its not always called a "pen-drive", different places and hardware use different names

best usb hard drive or usb Superdisk?
