Wrote a bunch of really  complimentary stuff about PCLOS and how it finally won out over the other distro I've been booting into (no names used), but i fat fingered something and it all went away.

I've used Linux at work, but this is the first time as a DE for home. I'm really having fun finding little jewels like Basket and LuckyBackup.

In the end I thanked Tex and those who work with him to make PCLOS an absolute top tier desktop environment. And the art work is always beautiful right out of the box. (Blue is my favorite color so that helps). I think 2010 KDE looks awesome.

I'll also add this is a helpful forum and while there is some 'tough love' like at any Linux distro forum it does not cross the line to snobbery and meanness as I witnessed elsewhere.

I look forward to booting PCLOS everyday. I trust that it will start and I trust it will run. Way too many mainstream distros I couldn't say that about. And finally KDE4 that runs and runs with good performance. Don't know what pixie dust the devs sprinkled, but keep it up.

I wasn't going to start my own thread 'announcing' my adoption of PCLOS as my one and only but since this thread was started I figured why not.

I agree with you about LuckyBackup, its a nice little app and good at what it does, and the screen layout is much better since the update the other day

But Baskets is a no go for me now as when it imports from KJots it screws up the formatting. Its a shame as it was useful for importing KJot notes and putting a layer of protection to them

i also start to do few things that i use to think was hard on linux like instaling  and result easy to do from synaptic,  result more easy that i think it was, also  try other distros before some of them  are  the most uses distros and they r unestable and dontt reconize hardware, so pclinuxos is the best i try so far, also the one i will stay with.
so im more confidence installing pclinuxos in my friends computers, and the main one from me, i erase in these pc win 7, i have win 7 in other there no need of more windows, linux is more fun!

I started using pclos 2010 kde, about a month ago,and i was very happy with kde, but the only problem i
had was that kde was slow on my system, and changed over to pclos 2010 xfce phoenix, i am very happy i
made the change, phoenix is faster on my system,it was easy to set-up, i joined the forum, but there is nothing i can post , i dont have any problems with pclos. I read the wiki and i read the various posts on the forum.
I have a system that works, i have removed Windows xp from my computer.(good riddance)and my distro hopping has stopped. VIVA PCLOS.
Thanks to everbody at pclos.

For me to... Have now " computers with PCLINUXOS, 2 with the Gnome and one with KDE4.
Just one to install on my dear wife her computer... That will be KDE4.
And whats the best of all... On my Mac - Intel Core Duo, everything works like i wanted.
GREAT ! Now i gonna enjoy in me garden, nice weather. I have time enough to learn about computers now, done with working... More like biking, tracking in the nature and rowing a little. The summer is short enough.
Greetings to all, and thanks PCLINUXOS-Team for the great work !
