Hello

Delighted in installing 2010 ,My  sound was working before up date .  
Now my sound card has become other hardware (RS880 Audio Device [Radeon HD 4200])  & SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA)

lspci  command gives me the following :

What I did to fix this was go to the hardware control panel, select Sound Configuration, and enable pulse audio and other options that were not checked. That seemed to fix the issue for me.

hello

Solved the problem by downloading 2010.1 iso and reinstalling ....Wink ,I think the problem was not due to update but due to meddling by me in trying to install from the original mother board dvd  linux driver Grin Grin Grin
