Hi all,

just running E17 in a virtual machine.  I like most of the themes, but for some of them I don't like the icons on the desktop for "Filesystem and Home" gadgets.  I tried changing the icons for the themes, but it changes every other icon except those.  Superficial I know, but I'd like to change them.  Anyone know?

Well badmotor , Applications to change icons:
http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,69723.msg572533.html#msg572533

To change icons of menus:
Menu > Settings > Settings Panel > Appearance > Icon Theme , Choose the theme and check the box "icon theme overrides the general theme"

To change icons Gadgets:
Menu > Settings > Theme > Tab advanced , there you can change the icons emodules or gadgets  a theme you like to another, do not forget to click on apply tab.

Greetings:
Agust

Thanks for the help, but I don't quite understand - I don't have emodules or gadgets in my Advanced list?

From there, I'm seeing in the screenshot.
Note that there are plenty of old themes, which are not complete, therefore the icons of these themes will be the default theme in PCLinuxOS is the theme B & W.

Thanks Agust.  I ended up taking another theme and rearranging it to get what I wanted.  That tips and tricks thread is great!
