grub configuration

Hi,  I'm trying to set up a dual boot -- PCLinuxOS and another distro.  Things went amuck and I need to mod the grub.conf (or its equivalent in PCLinuxOS.  Where is ti?

Do you mean menu.lst ?

Have a look in /boot/grub

If the other distro is UBU I believe that uses Grub 2 (PCLinuxOS use Grub 1) and they aren't compatible

Welcome to the forum.  

It would help much when asking for help to include things like what other OS you are working with, how many hard drives are involved, and where the installations are installed on those hard drives.

The file you are looking for is /boot/grub/menu.lst
