The only problem I've encountered sporadically in the 2010 version is that the windows border (with the minimize and maximize buttons) do not appear. I remember this being an issue in previous versions but can't find the posts that dealt with it. I have and NVIDIA GE Force 6200 card.

I've only had that happen when I've been changing themes and Compiz settings, and even when it has happened the buttons still worked even though they were invisible.  For me it stabilized pretty quickly - have you been changing theme settings, and if so have you restarted since doing so?

Yeah - if you are running Compiz you can double check by going to the Effects section and making sure the Window Decoration box is ticked.

The windows decoration box is checked. Upon booting the windows border appears. After running it for a while it disappears. Because it is an Nvidia driver it used to be you had to modify the xorg.conf to say  DefaultDepth 24 and  Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "true". That doesn't take care of the problem anymore.
