Seem to be having a graphic problem with the latest install of LXDE 2010.

If I stick with the default wallpaper the screen image appears shifted to the right with a thin white border left and top visible.
If I change the wallpaper to 'pclxde_blue.jpg' the image appears without the white lines.

Also when opening Abiword some of the graphics are missing.I tried reinstalling Abiword with the same effect.

I've managed to correct this problem by stretching the window to a larger size on application launch.

Maybe your correct Scoundrel.
But that tells me at least my install was correct..
Did you also notice that the boot splash screen doesn't fit the whole screen and is shifted to the right?

Edit
It's unimportant really because everything is fine once it's fully booted.

just rebooted to check, but it looked pretty normal to me .. though I've been meaning to check why I only get the verbose boot

Are you talking about a white line around the left side and top of the desktop graphics?

Which is what I have on my laptop, but the graphics are centered.

Those are the two white lines I speak of and yes the graphics are centered.I just get the impression that the lines shouldn't be there.

Try adjusting the horizontal positioning on your monitor. A thin white line on both sides is fine.

I have the same issues (both screen shift and weired Abiword graphics) on my laptop running lxde 2010 mini. Is there a way to start Abiword maximized?
