I have DL'd PCLOS 2010 Minime and full KDE DE .iso's which I have put on my liveUSB. The full KDE iso boots fine, but the Minime gives a fatal / failed error during the verbose bootup that looks something like this:

fatal error in /lib/modules/2.6.32.11/modules.dep

As a result when the menu comes up to select the type of keyboard to use, neither the mouse or the keyboard work. I have tried booting with noapci, nolapci and safe settings, but none of them change this behaviour. Anyone else observed this? Any suggestions?

Have tried booting with this image on another more modern machine and get exactly the same error message. So thinking it was a bad DL (despite the md5sum being correct) I went to getpclinuxOS, but the KDE minime iso has been withdrawn. Presume that there is an issue with the iso?

More likely a bad burn, or corruption of a file during copying, if speaking solely about the live USB. MiniMe is working fine here... typing from it now.

old-polack - thats what I had assumed, but the fact that the Minime iso has been pulled from http://pclinuxos.com/?page_id=10, makes me think that there is a problem with it. Either way I can't test it until I find somewhere else I can DL it from..... Any ideas?

Seems like it was just a bad copy after all!

Sorry for the false alarm!
