Thanks, I'm reading it right now.

Two quick thoughts...
- KRunner: too bad it doesn't allow autocompletion with [TAB] like you can do in Gnome (Alt+F2), because sometimes I want to type a command with parameters. Example: "firefox -P" to access the profile manager -> you have to type the whole line, where it would be way better to just type the few first characters "fir..." then [TAB] to complete "firefox" then finish with " -P".

- "secure" passwords: I'm using something similar when for all the websites/forums where I register, from a tip a read somewhere else. I selected an easy to remember password, then calculate the md5 sum for the following pattern: password-domainname, then select the 10 first characters (could be the 10 last, or any combination like in your article). So I don't need to remember all my passwords, all I have to remember is a "master" password, but my real password will be different for each domain where I register, and easy for me to find back. For example if my master password was "pclinuxosrules" and I want to register on pclinuxos.com, I'd calculate de md5 sum for the following string: "pclinuxosrules-pclinuxos.com" which is "eeb4b84632078da34ccfe867fa4f3f42" and the select the first 10 characters which gives me "eeb4b84632" as my password to access this site.

Wow!  I am really, really impressed with the magazine.  Informative, readable, and good looking!

It's amazing what you guys do.  My thanks to parnote and everyone involved.

Those who don't bother to read the magazine should give it a try, but be prepared to be converted to regular readers.   Smiley

Parnote and the PCLOS Magazine Team, thanks for another great read.

A Beta .iso to play with, a great magazine to read.  PCLinuxOS has kept me entertained over the last week.

Thank you very much.
