Well, I checked now also on the laptop.....

Laptop: e17 (from Texstar - thus with kde base): link to program is added automatically to Menu>>Applications>>Wine>>Program
PC: e17 (from Smurfslover - gtk-based): no link available; however, I can add it to the panel, and to favorite programs (or key bindings or ....), because it's available there as application.... strange

Thanks for the package suggests Smurfslover, and thanks to Agust for suggesting them here!  Cheesy

Search in ~/.local/share/applications for the .desktop file of the installed program, open it with leafpad and add this line:
Categories=X-MandrivaLinux-MoreApplications-Emulators-Wine;

This adds the application the 'More applications/emulators/wine/' not the same as in Texstar's config i'll boot up his livecd and check out how he did it, found multiple threads on this forum with the same problems on different pclinuxos versions (excluding he ones made by Texstar).
Tex got the skills and experience, we're are all still learning Wink

Adding applications to the menu:

Menu > Settings > Settings Panel , tab Application > New Application.

http://www.divshare.com/direct/13138175-c01.png

Now Name Application , Comment , click in search (small black box) copy and paste Path , Tab Icon and select Icon Application , tab Apply.
We have our application.

Agust

Agust,

  Question for you, where do you get the icons in your screenshot?  Are they part of the theme or did you get them from somewhere else?
