New list of mirros on front page.  Pick a mirror close to you and download the beta so you can give it a spin live.  Yes, it runs live from a CD.  It can run even more efficiently on PAE kernel, for those with or without huge amounts of RAM, and even the 'vanilla' kernel.  I've noticed my laptop CPU temps drop to acceptable levels with the Vanilla kernel, while the PAE gives me much more acceptable RAM and CPU usage levels.  WOOT!!  Ain't choice grand?

Look here , maximized windows cover toolbar , maximized windows do not cover toolbar check option "above all " and uncheck option "Allow the windows overlap the Shelf  , Apply.

Toolbar style , Gnome , Lxde etc...  maximized windows not cover Shelf.

Greetings:
Agust

Thanks Agust
I have tried this, but my problem is using the Restore/Maximize button. When you maximize it either goes under or over shelf, not stopping at shelf edge. I did set the windows manually and they remember the settings. So good enough.

I'm having the same trouble. If I maximise, it runs under the shelf. For example, in Firefox if I maximise, then the slider at the side is incomplete, the down arrow disappears below the shelf.

I don't know how to set the window manually.
