Hi all

I am very new i really like the way e17 looks

Is e17 a desktop that you add into pclinos-200.2 ?

yes you can install task-enlightenment then log out and change to e17 desktop.. or you could wait a bit and get the new e17 ISO to install

Welcome water_sun_sea at this point there is happening too much things here, betas, new releases, good decision to wait a little but if you have a spare partition or a non frequently used puter give it a try.

I have just downloaded and burned pclinuxos.200.2  to a d

And tried that on my lappy , i was well impressed my wireless was working straight away all was needed was the password  Grin

I also tried the sound and that worked as well

Yes i do have an old computer that i will dig out and install pclinuxos on and then will try task-enlightenment .

Lucky you, I've been buried in work, just today managed to download the 2010.2 ISO but I will try it until Sunday  Huh

if you mean  pclos 2009.2 ?? then you should know that it is being discontinued with ...right now we are testing the 2010 beta 2 and the final should be ready in a couple of weeks ...

Ups, I read 2010.2, yes Scoundrel is right but if he is just trying in a spare computer  what harm can be done?

no harm... Grin though he might then want to install YouCanToo's repo for synaptic if he wants to update it
