It has always worked after adding the mount points back the second time though.
I got in a loop, about the second time round, I went after it a different way. I don't remember this being an issue the last install.
As for windows, there is none on that HD, but the software that comes with the new HD does NTFS or FAT <G>< Then I use the Distros partitioner to make appropiate formats
I suppose I could have solved all this by using gparted or such and creating my EXT partitions beforehand. But I always approach any install to see if it is NooB friendly, and the Windows partition resize is going to be a thing many will need. Almost always try it to see how it works. This one did not. Not that I had planned to leave it at that is any case.
I can see it now, a 6 gig partition, and forget and try to download a 4+ gig ISO OOPS
