Puskar,

I would suggest to try saving your K downloads to linux partition and observe the speed. Linux uses ntfs drivers to read/write to NTFS partition, try to reinstall ntfs-3g.
I had similar problem downloading to NTFS partition when I used dual boot, I dnt have such problem now as I dont use Windows and NTFS, now its all linux and ext3's  Grin
