An even nicer method is to post a thumbnail of the pic/screenshot which is a link to the fullsize pic, so:

This is the code I used for the above thumbnail.  I like to keep my pictures on my own server and use igal to make the thumbnails.  I can give you full details and a script to update them if anyone is interested.

Code:
[URL=http://christiane.homeip.net/screenshots/screenshot017.jpeg][IMG]http://christiane.homeip.net/screenshots/.thumb_screenshot017.jpg[/IMG][/URL]

Simply change the address of your server/folder/pic name in the code above.

This makes it easier for browsing pages with screenshots, as having a long page with massive images makes everything go slow.

Omploader has an excellent Firefox Plugin that makes it even easier! Smiley

If some of the reviews are anything to go by I am staying well away from omploaderGrin

But if you insert the Forum entry, under Embed this image, from imageshack, you get this.

It depends on how you want the image to appear as to which entry you should copy and paste.

Of what use be there for joy, if not for the sharing thereof?

Thanks.  I can see where each would be useful.  Except I didn't like the image info stamped on the small one.

PhotoBucket was much more user friendly..
