Author Topic: Enabled beryl, stuck at load screen  (Read 1009 times)

I can hear the opening music play buts its stuck at loading desktop screen. How can I get out of this? Thanks.

I'm not sure where beryl logs, but you can try looking in your (/var/log/)Xorg(.0).log for any clue.
Post your xorg.log, and your specs(which graphic card?). If you don't know your specs, you can get the info by typing(in a terminal) "lspci"

EDIT: Wait. What desktop environnement are you using? Did the problems occur at starting your de(desktop environnement), or when starting X?

Select Drak3d as your session before logging on and turn it off.

are you running pclinux 2007 livecd or a 2007 install not updated?

beryl ceased to exist long time ago, now we have compiz
