the error snapshot shown here.
i am not able to mount other partitions manually also.
hdb sdb changes in others shows here in gnome desktop
in lxde and kde3 also i cannot mount manually without problems.
it just gets stuck without any error message

no i have not changed any settings from default installation.
surprisingly i find only 2 lines in /etc/fstab.
mounting other partitions is needed.
i keep my data in other partition.
