Keyboard stops working

Thanks guys for putting me on the right track.  I had the same locked keyboard resulting from not paying attention while resting my fingers on a key too long, then not paying attention to the warning.  To fix the problem, I just loaded the Control Center, Regional & Accessibility, Accessibility, then selected Default.

Bingo... all is well in the universe again!
