nvidia_190.xx save nVidia settings
«

Installed PCLOS 2009.1+ (KDE 3.5.10) on 12 month old Dell laptop and had some screen issues. Set repo to frozen + added testing, and reloaded. Installed nvidia_190.xx driver via VIT (current) and all looked OK. Setup the extended desktop as clone. Tried to save nVidia settings but was presented with message> unable to save xorg.conf.old
As a workaround I went to PC> system> configuration> right click on nVidia and select edit item.
Tick
Run as different User
and set
Username
as root. Now the settings stay changed after reboot.
Does anyone see issue with this fix?
