as i watched my buddy connect to the internet from his 3g network on his laptop in windows 7 he looked at me with that devilish smile and quickly explained how windows 7 is the best os ever Shocked. i checked avalivable wireless on my acer 3g but no wifi. Cry i also quickly replied that i had not had my acer long enough to fool with 3g yet but explained how the new kde4 was um well kinda great Undecided and um kinda fast too Roll Eyes but it was also so new there hadnt been time to iron out all the bugs yet Tongue. well to save face Embarrassed im hoping to get somewhere with 3g this weekend so as to have a little better retort next time around. Wink oh by the way his girlfriend hates windows and loves pclinuxos so at least we can gang up on him if he gets to sassy with this windows 7 crud. Grin
  any tips greatly appreciated!

sorry so long to get back, my mother needed to be moved this weekend. how much stuff can 1 little old lady have my younger brother asked? well theres her stuff on the porch. after loading most of that my brother was showing some signs of joy as he mentioned "well only the dresser and the bed left, that wasn't so bad". i replied "you know one of the reasons aunt zett was upset with mon is because she wanted to park her car in the garage". "huh"? was the reply as i opened the overhead door to reveal the mountain of  well we will just call it mom's stuff. my brothers face grew so long i thought he was going to trip over it. anyway we survived and im back at home.
the latest kernel in the repo for minime. no i don't see anything listed for 3g in the cc. ok ill read the link you posted and see where to go from there.

Yeap, the best os ever...................................... for catching viruses, spyware, adware, trojans, and on and on and on.. Don't forget it is also good at making sure that you are always buying newer and better hardware, while all your friends are running Linux on more vintage hardware and are much more secure while doing it.
