have a ee pc 1005 hab with a atheros 9825 wifi chipset trying to figure out how to get it to work not sure if i need wrapper inf file or not please help

uhhh need more info than that. what linux os are you running? you know most wireless works out the box now and im sure yours will run too just need more inf.

If you look at my thread on the Samsung NC10 (buried on page 2 of this section now) you will see how to upgrade the kernel and take the ath5k module out of the blacklist. That may be enough, obviously I don't know whether this particular one requires ath5k or ath9k.
There is also a thread on the eeepc 1005 somewhere too, that may help you.

If you have an Atheros AR928X like I have in my 1000HE, go into the repos and install ndiswrapper-netathw. In all brutal honesty, TRY THIS FIRST. If it doesn't work, it's easy to remove and if it does, you'll skip all the crazy garbage I had to go through.
