awww, was off Googling about my fav apps and what will/has happened to them in KDE 4 and I found Texstar posting on developers forums about things that we report.  It is nice to know somebody cares Kiss

At work I use an app that is not very popular and my huge client is probably the biggest customer that software company has, and they don't give a sugar cookie about us. And they are paid like thousands and thousands of dollars.

PCLinuxOS makes you feel like you count.

These things are quite useless... - only to be overshadowed by my poor typing skills.  These new type lenses are kind of al right close or far - my PC is in between....  tilting my head in all kind of directions to be able to see until my neck hurts...

So - how warm and cosy is it there by you, old Viking?

Heatwave....hmm.  We have a cool 33 today - or so they said this morning on the radio.  Feels hotter already....  Well, have fun in the snow, cleaning your driveway etc...

May I offer you this clip for consolation:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t8MRySLJw

This thread made me laugh...and appreciate the way you all think!

Knowingly, or not, there's a truckload of folks on these forums that "really do care about us" and inform, entertain, provide moral support and just do good. Just because.

What hit me was the video of the guy scrapping off the wrong car. It reminded me of when I was a teacher, getting out of school at 3:00+ in the afternoon on a cold winter's day here in New England, I had this weird habit of not only clearing off my own car, but a car or two next to me. (Something to do while my car was warming up.)

Yeah...I was a Boy Scout...so "do a good deed every day" is part of who I am.

Because I'm not that Linux savvy, my input here is limited to posting my observations and appreciation.

We all have a choice to either whine and complain about things or to get out there and do something positive.

Peace!
