It won't fit on a CD and probably won't fit on a standard DVD. You may have to do dual-layer. It all depends on what type of files they are. Cheers.

Thanks wyohman.
I was looking at some 4.7gb CDs in a shop this morning - they must have been DVDs?. They were dual-layer. Would one of those be OK?

Dual layer should be around 8.5GB. Cheers.

When you do the remaster, be sure you add --lzma in the options. The remastering process will take longer, but the size of the ISO will be smaller and may fit on one standard DVD.

Thanks for that tip Neal - it's going on my Remaster Todo list. Incidentally what is a standard DVD?

It's the size = 4.7gb So my Minime2009 fully updated of just under 12 gb should fit on a standard?

Using lzma compression, it should. Of course I can not offer any guarantees, as it depends on the sizes and types of your files. If after creating the remaster you find it to be greater than 4GB, try burning your personal files to DVD and then exclude them from the remaster on your next try. I have used this method.

Thanks Neal. My files are "ordinary" ones - no unwieldy videos images, or music so it should be OK.
