Errors on shutdown

Hi,

Just recently i've been getting errors on when shutting down (mostly random), i know when i'm about to get them because i lose the internet and can't get it back unless i reboot.

Phy0 -> rt2x00usb_vendor_request : Error - vendor request 0x07 Failed for offset 0x3000 with Error -71
Phy0 -> rt2x00usb_vendor_request : Error - vendor request 0x06 Failed for offset 0x0800 with Error -71
Phy0 -> rt2x00usb_vendor_request : Error - vendor request 0x01 Failed for offset 0x0800 with Error -71
Phy0 -> rt73usb_load_Firmware: Error - Failed to write Firmware to device.

The above error goes on for ages, just repeating for about 2mins before it stops and shuts down.

Any ideas what is causing it? i've done a reinstall twice to see if that gets rid of the problem, no joy.

some request to a usb port, what kernel are you using?

what hardware do you have on usb?

open konsole and write lsusb and post results

i found similar errors to yours, something about a wireless adapter mentioning problems loading modules

Using EdiMax wireless adapter with rt73 from the repo, tried the  RT2501, that didn't work.
